Alexis and Ryan’s Wedding

on a Beautiful Sunny Day!

Alexis, who loves orchids and hydrangea (especially the blue ones), chose slate blue for her bridesmaid dresses so we used green hydrangea accented with blue thistle for their bouquets. .

As you can see, the green hydrangea really stood out against the slate blue.

We added blue and white hydrangea as an introduction to the theme for the wedding reception flowers.

For table centerpieces, Alexis chose the high/low look which added depth to the high ceiling room. The tall arrangements of dense blue hydrangea combined with green amaranthus were made in clear plastic dishes filled with oasis. These were placed atop 24″-high pilsner glasses filled with green orchid stems and water to reflect the light from the votive candles

The Cake was Decorated with green orchids and blue hydrangea to place against the white icing. The cool colors complimented each other and the table arrangements
